5-Week Group Classes

Whether you're trying clay for the first time or refining advanced techniques, Glassman Clay Studio offers classes and workshops for every stage of your creative journey.

Each class includes:

  • 5 weeks of instruction

  • A 6th week of Open Studio to finish glazing

  • Dedicated open studio time

  • Supportive, experienced instructors

Beginning Wheel

Perfect for first-time potters. Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing.

Intermediate Wheel

Build confidence while expanding your skills with new forms, improved technique, and greater consistency.

Advanced Wheel

Challenge yourself with larger forms, lidded vessels, altered shapes, and personalized projects that refine your craftsmanship.

Handbuilding (All Levels)

Explore the versatility of clay without using a pottery wheel. Learn techniques such as:

  • Slab building

  • Coil building

  • Pinching

  • Surface decoration

Create functional pottery, sculptural pieces, and unique projects.

Kids Classes & Camps

Young artists can discover the joy of working with clay. Our kids' programs encourage imagination while teaching foundational ceramic skills through age-appropriate projects.
