Our Mission
A welcoming community where creativity, craftsmanship, and connection come together.
Glassman Clay Studio is a community ceramics studio in Hendersonville, North Carolina, offering classes, workshops, and open studio memberships for artists of all experience levels. Whether you're touching clay for the first time or refining years of experience, you'll find a place to learn, create, and belong.
Our Philosophy
We believe clay is about more than learning techniques. It's about exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and community. Through small class sizes, personalized instruction, and shared studio experiences, we help every student build confidence and develop their own artistic voice. We also believe that some of the best learning happens outside the classroom through conversations, shared experiences, and the generosity of fellow artists.
More Than a Studio
Glassman Clay Studio is more than a place to make pottery, It's a creative community. Our members and students learn from one another, share ideas, celebrate successes, and inspire each other to keep creating.
